Chen Zhongyi is research fellow at Institute of Foreign Literature of Chinese Academy of Social Science, Distinguished Professor at Hunan Normal University, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Correspondent Academician of the Royal Spanish Academy. He is mainly engaged in the study of Spanish literature and critical theories and occasionally writes novels in Chinese and reviews. He has published over ten monographs and more than 200 critical essays.
